This book had me hooked from the second I started it!
I loved all the fun little stories from the past!
Monte is now one of my all-time favourite characters, and Razor is my new favourite “bad guy” (I liked them before, but this just solidified it 🤣)

This book may be my new favorite out of the entire series because you get more of all the things this series is infamous for. There’s more backstory sprinkled in like glitter about our favorite moonshine runner, more slow burn from Olli and Dallas and more of the banter that balances all the action-packed moments. These books read like your favorite mystery podcast and you need to read them asap because you are missing out!

MONTE. I love him. This was my first foray into mystery and this moonshine running cinnamon roll had me at the word go. Every character was well rounded, Oli is my new role model and I need me a long trench coat so I can pretend I live in this book!
